Great Cove Golf Club
A beautiful 18 hole, par 71, course, is laid out among rolling wooded hills with a peaceful country atmosphere. Located less than 5 minutes from downtown McConnellsburg.
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this operating mill produces cornmeal, buckwheat, whole wheat and rye flour. Located 15 minutes from McConnellsburg. Also home to Ye Olde Mill Campground.
The museum is located in the historic Fulton House, a former inn and tavern located in the center of downtown McConnellsburg. Built in 1793, this limestone inn has slept four presidents and several other dignitaries. The log cabin in the rear is from that era as well. The museum annex, located across the street, features permanent and temporary displays of historic local life in the county, including exhibits featuring the Native American and African American history of the county, the contributions of rural agricultural and social life, and a series of shops and businesses recreated from years past. Stop by and take a trip back in time as you stroll down this display.
Held the third weekend in October, this festival features homemade foods, crafts, displays of agricultural equipment, tractor and truck pulls, historic displays, and many other things to do. You will also experience some of the most breath-taking autumn scenery in the state!
