First Peoples Summer Camp (Zoom)

Tuesdays, June 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6, 2021 Times: Grades 4-6 (and other family members) – 10:30-11:30am; Adults & Seniors – 6:30-7:30pm
Join Guest Artists Nancy J. Walker & Jeff Savage for the Library’s Summer Camp as they take you on a virtual tour with this Five Nation’s program. This FREE program covers Folklore, Legends, Stories, Music, Food, Traditional Clothing, Artwork & Dwellings, Languages, Social Structure, Sports & Games, Pre & Post-contact History & Geographical Locations, Traditional Lifestyles, Dances & Famous People. The program includes a Navajo Tapestry Weaving project through the whole program. FREE Tools & Materials will be provided for pickup at the Library. This is an interactive “virtual” program over ZOOM, with craft instruction. Each group will have their own sessions at the appropriate level.
